CAE as key success factor

Product development is unthinkable today without so-called computer-aided engineering, or CAE. By using CAE calculations as well as models, the properties of a product are validated and our development results verified.

Running simulations helps to identify potential deficiencies in the early stages and to improve products. Various parameters and influential factors – such as, for example, dynamic load, temperature, and vibration – can be efficiently analysed and the effects on the individual assembly groups and components identified early on.

CAE is an important interface within the development team; it improves product maturity in the early stages of the development process and helps save costs and time in prototypes and testing. Early analysis is an integral part of the continuous improvement process (CIP), which is of great importance in modern quality management.
